ok. Even the bed bug scare that really only lasted about 2 hours and the dryer that broke the day before we left didn't spoil our weekend getaway. It was wonderful. I'll post a few pics later. It was relaxing, and we all needed that. I'll post some pics later. I am going to be positive about that last statement because I can't find my camera anywhere. I am really upset because I love that camera, its not fancy or outrageously expensive. I'm just not much for electronics and that kind of thing and it just suits me. Plus it was my Christmas gift from my husband last year. I love that camera. I've got to find it. I just have to.

So, I have a question for you. I am looking at Christmas cards and I'd like to know what you ladies do when your children leave home and you don't have all of them in the picture for your cards. Do you put their name on them even though they aren't in the pic or do you just leave them off altogether? And what if you are remarried and your last name is different from the children? What is the proper etiquette for these situations? Here are few of my favorites.

Those are gorgeous cards. I especially love the first one.

I like the first one with the toile! And for your other etiquette question, I have absolutely no idea! I do know that even when everyone lives together it's hard to get a family shot taken...or at least one that passes my inspection!

Oh vanity, vanity.

If you can't get everybody together at the same time to take a picture, you can do the cards where you use more than one photo. They have them on Kodak gallery. They aren't the nice paper ones that you have to stick the photo on, but they will work in the "I have two or three photos" situation.

We just take one of everybody at Fall Break or Thanksgiving, get them printed quickly and send them out.

I usually have the envelopes already addressed before we get the photos done. If I didn't do them before the end of November, they wouldn't happen at all.

Ooohhh, I love the first and last ones the best! The first one matches my crib bedding!
They're all beautiful.
You could do a collage with one great picture of each child and then mom & dad. You could sign it with your names (mom and dad) including last name and then on separate line, add the children's names.
