Ordinary days gone by

Sometimes I need to stop and take stock. Take a look at my life and what Ive accomplished. Make sure I am focused on my goals. Have my perspectives in order. It can be so easy to get sidetracked. It happens little by little sneaking in until you realize you're off track somehow. Sometimes looking back at old pictures helps me. Some of my favorite photos are not the cherished portraits or the perfectly poised ones in perfect outfits, but of the ordinary days at the park when they insisted on wearing socks that didn't match or got their hair all sweaty from jumping on the trampoline. Or even the days we ate off of paper plates, heaven forbid! I'm getting back on track today. If you need to too, I hope this helps.

Boy can I relate to your post, especially with the holidays coming so quickly! I am right there in the ditch with you but thanks for making me stop and think. Sometimes I have to just pause and catch my breath.

I so agree. I was thinking of posting something similar today. I guess it is the "time of thanks" :0)

Also, I love the picture of you and hubby locked in that kiss, don't know how long you've had that there, just noticed. Sweet! :)
