Catch Up

I haven't been posting much lately. One reason is that my lap top won't allow me to sign into my homepage on blogger. And I'm lazy when online and usually post while sitting in bed or on the sofa. I've got a few things to catch up on...

1-I've not finished my dress in sewing class, no, not because I am lazy, because my teacher has a bad habit of forgetting we have an appt. and because she insulted me, and the dress was too big after i had it finished enough to try it on. We should have made it out of muslin first, but not being and experienced seemstress, i didn't even know about doing that. The dress is huge, atleast two sizes too big. But she implied that the dress would fit if..."well if you didn't have such, well if you were tiny like my mother, she only weighed 103 lbs. in the '60's. (Insert picture of Raquel Welch in that cave woman movie I can remember the title of HERE). And well people just weren't built like you back then. They didn't have those back then." Wow! I weigh around 100 lbs., and wear a 32C. Maybe too much information for you, I'm sorry. And I think she was implying I have breast implants. I don't. But its not a crime. I had been unhappy with my instruction and this cinched it for me. Plus I was just so disappointed that my fabric was ruined and now its too late to wear it this year. And I ask you, how could my massive fake boobs account for the dress being too big? I'm puzzled. But didn't ask.
2-I have a new niece, yep, that makes 6 girls...no, my brother and his family are not Catholic or Mormon, as they are so often asked. Not that this matters, we just get asked alot by people with their jaw on the floor and their eyes bugging out.
3-I start a new job this week. MAYBE GOD's PLAN IS DIFFERENT THAN MINE. Going back to work full time will be challenging, in a good way.

Gotyour pumpkins yet?

Love it that you are just real and can look at things in a funny light. Life, sometimes!!!!!! Hope your day is wonderful.

Tell this quote to your sewing teacher...
1) "Don't mistake my kindness for weakness!" Because you my friend are strong.

2) "You can stand tall without standing on someone. You can be a victor without having victims."-- Harriet Woods (1927-) American Politician

Take that sewing teacher! Why in Sam Hill did she have to bring her mamma into the dress fitting conversation. She was just jealous that you have a cute figure and that is that.
